
My angel Erin and I started Lordsman Funding in 2001. The mandate for our business was clear… to add value to the lives of the client families we served. We knew that the best way to do this would be to do business with a different vision and model… to put our client families first. We understood that when purchasing a home and/or obtaining a home loan, for most people, this would be the largest monetary transaction of their lives.
It’s in times like these that we could come along side our client families and provide them services with the highest degree of honesty, integrity, and clarity and with a result that put our client families in the best position for the long term. Since our beginning we have strived and provided caring and compassionate support to our client family. We will continue to do so well into the future.
Lordsman Funding is a mortgage company, but it is also our platform for ministry. While we can do any type of real estate mortgage loan that can be done, we are not in the business of selling folks loans.
Early on we saw that no one ever really called us for a loan, even though they thought they were doing so. Instead, we learned that they all called us for a solution to a problem that they hoped a home loan might solve. There have been many times when we have advised our callers to other steps to solve their problem. Putting our clients first has allowed our company to prosper even through the tough times.
